ANA-Vermont joins other state nursing associations to advocate for evidence-based leadership at HHS

ANA-Vermont joined with American Nurses Association\California, Washington State Nurses Association, Montana Nurses Association, Oregon Nurses Association, Minnesota Organization of Registered Nurses, American Nurses Association of Illinois, Hawai'i American Nurses Association, American Nurses Association-Ohio, and Colorado Nurses Association to urge prioritization evidence-based practices within all levels of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and promoting public health practices. HHS has oversight of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. As a coalition of nurses, we are compelled to advocate for evidence-based practices such as vaccination. You may view the full statement in the attached document.
