ANA-Vermont Call for Nominations for 2025 Board of Directors!

ANA-Vermont is seeking nominations for a slate of candidates for positions to serve on the Board for the 2025/2026 term.

The open positions are listed below and attached is a document that provides a description of each role, the responsibilities, term, time commitment, and eligibility criteria. 

  • President-elect
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Director
  • Treasurer

Terms are for one or two years and run from January to December. The term of service for these positions begins January 1, 2025. 

To be eligible to serve on the Board, a candidate shall hold current membership in the ANA-Vermont and not currently serve as an Officer or Director of another organization if such participation might result in conflict of interest with ANA-Vermont. 

Additional eligibility considerations include the following:

  • LPNs may be nominated as a candidate for Secretary and Treasurer.
  • Only a dual ANA-Vermont/ANA member may serve as President, Vice President or Representative or Alternate to the Membership Assembly.
  • ANA places high priority on diversity and seeks to encourage and foster increased involvement of underrepresented groups and staff nurses at the national level.

Nominations are accepted from any ANA-Vermont member and may include a self-nomination. All nominations shall be submitted electronically using the ANA-Vermont website form located here ANA-Vermont 2025 Board of Directors Nomination Form.

  • The Nomination Period is September 1, 2024 – October 1, 2024.
  • All nominations must be submitted electronically by midnight EST on October 1, 2024.
  • Following the nomination period, voting will take place via electronic ballot.
