A Message of Gratitude from ANA-Vermont

Posted about 1 year ago

Dear Nurse Colleagues,

With the approach of this Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your dedication to the nursing profession and compassionate care to the people of Vermont. Your tireless efforts, especially during these unprecedented times, have been instrumental in ensuring the health and well-being of the communities across our great state.

Throughout my time with ANA-Vermont, I have seen firsthand the remarkable contributions that our Vermont nurses make each day. We are leaders, educators, scientists, and direct care providers that show up with expertise, empathy, and unwavering commitment. We provide care to those in need and make the world a better place for so many. As I reflect on the magnitude of this impact, I am both personally and professionally thankful for nurses.

As we gather together this Thanksgiving, I do hope that you can find some time and space to reflect on your many accomplishments and the immeasurable impacts that you have had as a nurse in the communities that you serve. For those of you that will be away from loved ones this holiday in order to provide nursing care to those in need, thank you for your service and may you be the source of gratitude for those in your care.

With heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the ANA-Vermont, I thank you for all that you do, and I want to wish you a safe and joyous Thanksgiving holiday!

Sincerely,

Amy Martone, DNP, MBA, RN, NPD-BC

Interim Executive Director, ANA-Vermont
