Today we Celebrate Certified Nurses Day!

Dear nurse colleagues,

Today is Certified Nurses Day and I would like to take the opportunity to recognize all board-certified nurses that live and work in the State of Vermont! It is a wonderful accomplishment to achieve and maintain national board certification in a specialty.  

Board certification is key in the assurance of minimum standards of knowledge, skill, and abilities in nursing specialty practice and contributes to better patient outcomes. National certification allows nurses to be recognized for competence in their specialty and today I want to personally recognize each of you!
