NEMSD is seeking Nurse Peer Reviewers

Posted over 2 years ago

The Northeast Multistate Division (NEMSD) is a collaborative group of individual autonomous states (Alabama, Hawaii, and Vermont) whose purpose is to enhance the power, strength, success, sustainability, and voice of its member states through the effective utilization of shared services and resources to champion quality health care and advance the profession of nursing.

The NEMSD is accredited as an Approver and Provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC/COA) with a primary function to support the states’ nurses by providing quality nursing continuing professional development education (NCPD) that meets the national standards established by ANCC/COA. In order to deliver high-quality education, all NEMSD applications must be peer reviewed.

NEMSD is currently seeking Nurse Peer Reviewers. This is an incredible opportunity for registered nurses that are interested in advancing their skills and knowledge while supporting nursing education in our state and partner states. If selected, new Nurse Peer Reviewers will participate in a live training and receive a mentor to provide support and guidance for the peer review process.

Eligible candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • Registered nurse with valid license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher in nursing.
  • Current ANA member.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience to participate in the peer review process.
  • Proficiency in accessing email and email attachments.
  • Available to complete 1-2 reviews per month.
  • Available to participate in a 1 hour Bi-monthly Nurse Peer Reviewer conference call.
