The American Nurses Association (ANA) is proud to announce the debut of “American Nurse Heroes,” a multi-channel network television event that celebrates the Year of the Nurse and recognizes the profound role nurses play in health care and the positive impact they have on our nation, especially in times of crisis. The event, presented by FirstNet® and produced by ANA, Al Roker Entertainment, and HealthCom Media, premieres June 24 at 8 p.m. EST, on Discovery Life. The special will feature inspiring true stories of nurses who selflessly provide expert, compassionate care on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
