The Organization of Nurse Leaders is offering:

Nuts and Bolts of Nursing Leadership
This workshop is designed to assist new leaders with key skills necessary to be successful in any organization. The workshop will address transitioning into a leadership role; communication and collaboration, including power and authority; resource management; and managing staff performance. This program is being offered on two dates, May 4th OR May 18th, and attendees are eligible for 6 contact hours. To learn more click here. To register click here. The Nuts and Bolts of Nursing Leadership

Nurses are often promoted into leadership roles with little or no understanding of the leadership, management, and communication skills needed to succeed. ONL is pleased to offer this new 1-day, interactive, leadership development workshop: The Nuts and Bolts of Nursing Leadership, designed to assist new leaders with key skills necessary to be a successful in any organization. The workshop will address transitioning into a leadership role; communication and collaboration, including power and authority; resource management; and managing staff performance. The overall workshop topics will be similar each day, but the focus and examples are specifically designed for each workshop’s target audience.

Rose O. Sherman, EdD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN

Dr. Sherman is nationally known for her innovative work in nurse leader development. She edits the popular leadership blog www.emergingrnleader.com and is Editor in Chief of Nurse Leader. Dr. Sherman is also a Gallup certified strengths coach and author of the book, The Nurse Leader Coach: Become the Boss No One Wants to Leave.

Joyce Batcheller, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAONL, FAAN

Dr. Batcheller is currently a Nurse Executive Advisor for AMN Healthcare. Prior to that she served as the President of CNO Solutions where she was responsible for the development of a CNO Academy and on-boarding toolkit and executive advising. Joyce has specialized in chief nursing officer on-boarding and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on the subject.
