Workshop on Allocation of COVID-19 Monoclonal Antibody Therapies and Other Novel Therapeutics

December 16 (10am-2pm ET), and December 17 (10am-2pm ET) for a virtualĀ workshop on Allocation of COVID-19 Monoclonal Antibody Therapies and Other Novel Therapeutics.

The workshop will begin with introductions from Harvey Fineberg, President of the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and Victor Dzau, President of The National Academy of Medicine, followed by expert panels and moderated discussions on:

  • key considerations for assisting decision makers in equitable allocation of COVID-19 monoclonal antibody therapies and other novel therapeutics at the state and local levels; and
  • related key issues such as barriers to access (particularly for high-risk populations), administration capacity, cost, and data collection and reporting.

This workshop is hosted by the Standing Committee on Emerging Infectious Diseases and 21st Century Health Threats, convened by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in response to a request from the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR)
